Recycled Glass Tiles for Bathrooms

I didn't realize there were so many options available for tiles. It's way too confusing. Recently we went out and looked at recycled glass tiles. The tiles are in just about every color you can imagine.

Recycled glass tile is a bit pricey, so if we use it, we'll use it for an accent or maybe make a mosaic background for a water fountain feature in the bathroom.

I love the look of the glass when it's wet. I also like the whole idea of recycling something that might otherwise go into our landfills. Recycled glass tiles. Seriously... who knew!

Bathroom Vanity

The options in bathroom fixtures are endless. We haven't made our final design choices in our bathroom remodel. We plan to stay with the style of our old country farm house, but it's fun looking at other design options. I love this bathroom vanity. It's the Montebello vanity, in a cherry wood finish with a black granite countertop. Maybe in my next home.

Since we've been following Dave's program, I feel such a great relief. I know we are going to be okay financially. It isn't happening over night, but it is happening.

Deep Cleaning

I didn't realize how much junk we have, until I started sorting. I'm so tired I think could drop into bed and sleep another 12 hours. I'm sore from the workout I'm getting with all this sorting. We have piles of junk to haul off. There are piles in our living room, the dining room, and outside.

The storage room is empty, even though the junk isn't gone. We are going to repurpose the room. I'd love a craft room. I doubt we'll use it for a craft room though.

The next project is a bathroom, minor make over. We'll paint the bathroom and hang a new shower curtain. I said minor make over. It's the small bathroom guests use, we bought blue paint to match some new towels I purchased awhile back. Color will be on the walls. Blue paint, not white! This is way out of the norm for us.
